Tips for using Food Blogger Pro

Food Blogger Pro is officially two weeks old!

Over the past 14 days, videos on Food Blogger Pro have been played over 4,000 times by 175 different members in 26 different countries. Pretty cool.

In order to celebrate our two week birthday we put together some simple tips to help you maximize your Food Blogger Pro membership.

Watching in HD

All of the videos on Food Blogger Pro have the letters “HD” in the bottom right corner. You can click these letters to turn HD on or off for the video. If you have a slow internet connection you can turn HD off to make the video load faster.

Upload a Profile Photo

If you look at the comments section of the Welcome to Food Blogger Pro post you’ll see that some members have a custom profile photo next to their comment. Your profile photo will be used in different places as Food Blogger Pro continues to grow and add different functionality.

Here’s how to add a custom profile photo to your Food Blogger Pro account.

1. Click on “Account” in the navigation menu and then click on “Update Profile + Billing Info”

Let us know

Is there a particular area with food blogging that you’re struggling to figure out?

Shoot us an email to let us know. We’re interested in learning what the biggest pain points are for food bloggers so we can appropriately craft future lessons and courses. No guarantees that we can cover everything, but we’d love to have some insight into what you would like to see covered in Food Blogger Pro.

Just click on the “support” link in the footer below to send us an email.

Drip, drip, drip

Author and speaker Seth Godin wrote his 3,000 blog post on February 24th, 2009. In the post entitled Luckiest Guy he talks about habits, saying “Drip, drip, drip, it adds up.”

The same is true for learning. As you move through the content in Food Blogger Pro remember that you don’t need to complete an entire course every time you log in. Just a video or two a day can really add up over time.

Thanks

Thanks for being a part of Food Blogger Pro and for helping us celebrate our two week birthday. I’m off to eat some cake.
